Photo: Michael De Feo paints divers on the southeast corner of the prison wall as preparation continues for this weekend's “Art inside the park goes urban” inside the former Missouri State Penitentiary.
DeFeo is from New York City and will be painting this piece and flowers on buildings on the near East Side. Leon A. Reid IV created the large bird chained to the top of the guard tower. Greg Edmondson of St. Louis made the bunch of caterpillars that stretches aproximately 80 feet.
Artists from around the country are in the process Friday of setting up for the evening's showing.
