Cole County Judge Richard Callahan recently sentenced Jeffrey Veltrop, 34, 6211 Heritage Highway.
According to court records, Veltrop, Daniel and Laura Rulo, both of Ashland, and Michael White, Boonville, were taken into custody on July 25, 2006.
According to the probable cause statement from the Missouri Highway Patrol, a trooper stopped to check on a stalled truck-tractor around 2 p.m. at Route B and Christy Drive at Jefferson City.
The subject in the vehicle, Michael White, fled on foot and was taken into custody after a short pursuit.
White told the trooper he had just stolen the truck and was taking it to 6211 Heritage Highway.
The owner of the truck told authorities it had been taken from 2710 Southwood Hills Road.
White later told troopers he was involved in an operation that cuts up stolen trailers for aluminum scrap. He said a tractor-trailer had been stolen from Mineral Point along with a livestock trailer from Westphalia, and they were stored at 6211 Heritage Highway.
Authorities later recovered two tractors, two trailers and a motorcycle at the residence. A small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and several firearms also were recovered.
Laura Rulo told troopers that she had accompanied Daniel Rulo and Michael White when they stole the tractor-trailer in Mineral Point and the livestock trailer in Westphalia.
In other recent court action, Judge Callahan:
* Placed a Linn man on two years' unsupervised probation and ordered him to perform 90 days of community service after he pled guilty to a charge he faced for keeping authorities at bay for several hours during a standoff last September.
Brooks Ryan, 23, was indicted by the county grand jury on one count of unlawful use of a weapon.
The incident began around 8:40 p.m. Sept. 8.
According to a probable cause statement filed by the Cole County Sheriff's Department, deputies were called to 5209 Collier Court in reference to a man who was walking in the street with a weapon, possibly the result of a domestic disturbance at the address.
During the disturbance, Ryan reportedly used a shotgun to threaten his girlfriend as she was leaving their apartment.
Ryan then went across the street, with his shotgun, to speak to a friend whom he thought his girlfriend was involved with, the report said.
When deputies arrived, Ryan was inside his apartment and refused to come out. The area was cordoned off and nearby apartments evacuated.
Ryan eventually was brought out, peacefully, around 1:30 a.m., Sept. 9.
* Placed a Jefferson City man on five years' supervised probation after he pled guilty to a driving while revoked charge from October 2007. Donald Myles Jr., 26, 621 Woodlander, must also be monitored on electronic shackling for 60 days as part of his probation.
