LU professor elected president of honor society

Ann Harris, professor of English and head of the Department of Languages, Literature and Philosophy at Lincoln University, was elected president of Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society at the national convention.
She has served as the advisor to the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Mu at the university since 2003.
Harris received a master's degree in creative writing and a doctorate in African American literature from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
She has taught at Lincoln University since 1990, and also serves as co-director of the Honors Program.
