Woman hurt in accident

A Camdenton woman was injured in a two-car accident at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday on Missouri 5, south of the south junction of Missouri 7, in Camden County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Saab, driven southbound by Joan C. Dinwiddie, 53, Camdenton, slowed for traffic and was struck in the rear by a 2005 Ford, driven southbound by Richard K. Bergquist, 66, Marietta, Okla.

Dinwiddie was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, where she was treated and released.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
