Sentences passed in Cole County Circuit Court

James Holleman, 25, 3831 Oxford, was charged in November 2006 and May 2007 with stealing a TV and Sony PlayStation games from Wal-Mart and Kmart, court records said.
In other recent court action, Judge Joyce:
* Revoked the probation of a Jefferson City man and sentenced him to two years in prison. Herbert Sanders, 34, 5205 S. Brooks, had pled guilty to driving while revoked in April 2006 and resisting arrest in September 2006.
* Revoked the probation of a Jefferson City man and sentenced him to five years in prison. Alohn Griffin, 26, 718 Walsh, was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree property damage and theft in February 2005 and possession of marijuana in May.
* Sentenced a Jefferson City man to six days in the county jail, with credit for one day served, after he pled guilty to possession of marijuana. Lafayette Hume, 18, 1100 Ellis Blvd., was charged in February.
* Placed a Jefferson City man on five years supervised probation after he pled guilty to possession of oxycodone. Nathan Klempke, 25, 165 Starlight, was charged in December 2006.
* Placed a Moberly man on five years' supervised probation after he pled guilty to failing to pay child support. Kennie Glasgow, 35, was charged in February 2005.
Cole County Judge Richard Callahan recently sentenced a Jefferson City resident to two years in prison after accepting a guilty plea to a charge of driving while revoked.
Anitra Leavell, 35, 3918 Dewberry, was charged with the crime in February, court records said.
In other recent court action, Callahan:
* Placed a Jefferson City man on five years' supervised probation after successfully completing a 120-day shock detention sentence in prison. Therron Sloan, 41, 814 E. McCarty St., pled guilty in May to an April 2006 charge of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Cole County Judge Jon Beetem recently revoked the probation of a Jefferson City man and sentenced him to three years in prison.
Migueal Stephenson, 20, 602 Hutton Lane, admitted to stealing $1,075 while working at Ellis Porter Pool in July 2005 and to falsely reporting that a theft had occurred.
He also admitted to first-degree tampering and first-degree property damage charges for having taken a 2002 Lincoln Navigator without the consent of the owner and for reportedly causing $1,000 in damage to the owner's garage.
That incident occurred Christmas Day 2005, court records said.
Cole County Senior Judge Byron Kinder recently placed a man on five years' supervised probation for pleading guilty to possession of the controlled substance clonazepam. Joshua Jaspersen, 21, Peculiar, was charged in June 2006, court records said.
