Local man injured in one-car accident

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a 1995 Pontiac, driven southbound by Robert G. Nitschke, 21, Jefferson City, swerved to avoid another vehicle entering the highway from an on-ramp and struck a concrete divider wall.
Nitschke was taken to Capital Region Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
He was wearing a seat belt.
In other accidents:
* Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 10:25 a.m. Monday on Old Route 5 at Harvest Road, in Camden County.
The patrol reported a 2001 Nissan Xterra, driven westbound by Lana L. Geier, 29, Gravois Mills, pulled into the path of a 1993 GMC Jimmy, driven northbound by Michael L. Stark, 57, Camdenton.
Geier, Stark, and a passenger in the Stark vehicle, Douglas L. Green, 26, Camdenton, were taken to Lake Regional Hospital. No condition reports were available.
Everyone was wearing a seat belt.
* A Rocky Mount teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 11:30 a.m. Monday on Deer Run Drive at Bougue Circle, in Morgan County.
The patrol reported a 1994 Jeep, driven westbound by Robert K. Kohen, 17, Rocky Mount, failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the centerline, ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
He was taken to Lake Regional Hospital. No condition report was available.
Kohen was not wearing a seat belt.
