Girls Basketball: Lady Jays camp

The Jefferson City Lady Jays high school basketball coaching staff and players will be conducting the annual Fall Girls Basketball Camp Oct. 23-25.
The camp is an offensive skills camp for girls in kindergarten through sixth grade. There will be an emphasis on shooting, ballhandling and passing. Girls will also recieve instruction on footwork and individual moves.
The camp will also include games that help develop basketball skills. The atmosphere will be relaxed and fun with attendees receiving individual attention.
The camp will take place at Fleming Fieldhouse. Those in kindergarten through third grade will meet from 6-7:30 p.m., while grades 4-6 will meet from 7:30-9 p.m.
The cost is $20 and includes instruction and a camp T-shirt. Walk-ups will be accepted. Make checks payable to Lady Jay Basketball and mail to coach Doug Light, Jefferson City High School, 609 Union, Jefferson City, Mo., 65101.
