She was born November 16, 1928, at Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Henry Louis and Daisy Bell Poe Hilgert. She was married December 21, 1946, at Jefferson, City, Mo., to Marvin A. Fisher, who survives of the home.
She had attended the St. Peters Catholic Schools and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Wyman Basinger Post #35.
Mrs. Fisher had been employed at the Tweedies Shoe Factory and International Shoe Factory.
Other survivors include two sons, Jimmie Allen Fisher and his wife, Freida, of Russellville, Mo., and Jackie Andrew Fisher and his wife, Doris, of Jefferson City, Mo.; two daughters, Joyce Ann Basnett and her husband, Larry, of Jefferson City, Mo., and Janet Arlene Basnett of Jefferson City, Mo.; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two on the way; one brother, Adrian "Monk" Hilgert and his wife, Viola, of Jefferson City, Mo., and one sister, Doris Jean White of Jefferson City, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at the Buescher Memorial Home, Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Shane Crum officiating. Interment will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at the Buescher Memorial Home, Monday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to the Immanuel Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Buescher Memorial Home.
